Chess classes in RALET have been running since 2013 for the kids of the RALET primary school in Lusk. Co.Dublin, Ireland.
Classes run on Tuesdays at 2,30 to 3,30 pm.

RALET Chess Classes Curriculum
During the class, kids learn by playing different games, puzzles, quizzes and by interacting with the teacher and fellows. All the lessons have a strong emphasis on the fun side of chess.
The Curriculum taught in the RALET classes is mostly based on the Chess In Schools Curriculum.
Chess in Schools is a U.K. charity whose mission is to improve children’s educational outcomes and social development by introducing them to the game of chess. Founded in 2009, they teach chess in over 400 U.K. schools.

The Teacher
I’m Marco, Italian living in Ireland since 2007, Digital Marketing consultant by profession and chess coach by passion. I’m a member of the Irish Chess Union (ICU) and regularly play for Skerries Chess Club at a competitive level. I’m also Coaching Officer for the same club.
Chess & Fun was born in 2013 to support my activities as chess coach.
